UP close and personal, Rupert Grint isn’t that different from his alter ego, the gangly, ginger-haired Ron Weasley. The 21-year-old admitted that he didn’t know how big a deal it was working on the Harry Potter movies until the last day on the set.

“It really hit me hard – an overwhelming feeling, really, that we would never be here again in the same place. I’ve taken some time to adjust since then and come to terms with that. I’m ready to move on,” said Grint.

The British actor had been filming the Harry Potter movies since he was 10, and he’s ready to return to a normal life, catching up on the things that he has missed out on.

“ Harry Potter had taken over my life, actually. It’s weird to shed it but I feel free now, which is quite nice.”
