Resident bad boy

TOM Felton has a difficult time convincing people that he is Draco Malfoy in the HarryPotter series. Now that he no longer has blond hair or pale skin, it takes a little while for fans to realise that they are indeed talking to Felton.

“I kind of miss it (blond hair) in an odd way,” said Felton whose hair is now a few shades darker. But being unrecognisable on the street has its advantages as well, said the 23-year-old London-born lad, as he is able to roam around town, be it in America or Britain, without any hassle.

“I have absolutely no problem with walking anywhere and now, with the brown hair, it takes me to convince them that I am the guy who played Malfoy.”

Nothing like the mean, scowling schoolboy he portrays onscreen, the chatty and funny Felton has accepted the fact that he’s the least favourite character in the movie series.

“Kids cry when they see me at the movie set. They are keen to meet young Daniel, Rupert and Emma but not so keen to meet me, apparently. I’ll take that as a compliment,” said Felton with a smile.
