brating the female form.

Meanwhile, skirts are midi length and the princess coats provide the ultimate coquettish outerwear.

Form-fitting tweed suits and classic knits make for a racier cut. Fake fur, ruffles and bows add quirkiness to the pieces.

For the free-spirited, Warehouse gets its inspiration from American Indian print dresses in maxi and midi lengths. These are worn with comforting blanket check coats and thick knits.

Faux fur and washed leather are also key components for this layered-up, carefree look in grey, tan and camel.

As for its Dark Fairytale pieces, Warehouse draws inspiration from the gothic world of film director Tim Burton.

Think bulky knitwear that cocoons the body with a hodgepodge of textures and print. Knits with complex patterns, faux fur gilets and capes offer a new blanket approach to outerwear.

For winter, pieces are tattered – raw lace is layered with patchwork knits, faux fur and sumptuous satin in a palette of white and soft greys.

The Aviator look still rocks, with a utilitarian and distinct tomboy vibe. Flying jackets and shearling coats team up with country tweeds and cord. The parka is updated into Chunky knit outerwear from Free Spirit range, with faux fur and washed leather. functional capes and blanket checks.

Then, there are the British staples such as tartan, military, argyle and kilts featured in a palette of red, white and blue in the Libertine range.

The Modernist collection continues to emphasise clean lines and fine tailoring.

Finally, the Spotlight range features pieces inspired by the Ottoman Empire, Ancient Greece and Rome. Dressing up is at its most opulent in rich textures of velvet, lace, jacquard, lame and chiffon in deep colours.

Byrne expects aviator jackets, lace tops and soft silk prints to continue to monopolise day wear for next year’s Spring/ Summer season.

In terms of accessories, musthave items are the small crossbody bag and headgear.

“All our prints are unique and signed off personally by me. You won’t find our prints anywhere else. High street today is different from what it used to be. We want to be our customer’s first choice when it comes to high-street fashion,” said Byrne.

According to Byrne, you can tell a Warehouse garment from its quality, or a funny twist or quirk that makes the piece unique.

“I was told that we are high street’s best kept secret!” she concluded. n Price starts from RM200.
