HP introduces Wifi mouse
AZTECH has unveild its Wireless-N IP WIPC302 camera that allows you to keep an eye on your loved ones at home while you are at work.
You can use the camera to remotely view, listen to and record images of your loved ones through a wired or wireless network.
The camera is designed with a built-in web server that supports real-time live video feeds from any web browser on your iPhone, Android smartphone, BlackBerry, Tablet or computer.
The WIPC302 comes with motion detection, alarm notification and infrared LED fea- tures that allow for personal 24/7 monitoring as the camera automatically captures video snapshots and sends these to your email inbox or FTP server, Aztec said.
By connecting an external speaker to the WIPC302, users can also listen to and respond remotely if required.
Video is compressed using MJPEG and users can choose between three different viewing resolutions (VGA/QVGA/QQVGA).
The WIPC302 is priced at RM299. ++++ www.aztech.com HEWLETT-PACKARD has unveiled its WiFi Mobile Mouse, which it claims is the first to be able to connect quickly and easily without a USB dongle via a PC’s built-in WiFi receiver.
Capable of operating at a range of up to 30ft, a first-time pairing connects the mouse to the PC and instantly reconnects during each use, operating without interference from other wireless devices, the company said.
With its sculpted form and rubber sides for comfort, other features include a fourway-tilt scroll wheel and five customisable buttons that allow users to create shortcuts for common actions such as cut, paste, undo and redo.
The HP WiFi mouse, which has a rated nine months of battery life, is now available for RM150. ++++ www.hp.com
