Frogs to the fore

The Star Malaysia - Star2 - - LIVING -

Frogs serve as a protein source in developing countries, but in wealthy nations, frog legs have become a delicacy. Indonesia is the world's largest supplier of frog meat, exporting more than 5, 000 tonnes every year, mostly in France, Belgium and Luxembourg. The growing demand for frog legs has resulted in sharp decline in frog population. Will farmed frogs satisfy the global appetite for this tender, delicate meat?
