tumi’s lat­est col­lec­tion boasts new colours for au­tumn.

AMER­I­CAN premium life­style brand Tumi re­cently un­veiled its quin­tes­sen­tial colours of fall, and stylish op­tions for style-savvy men and women.

Wil­low, a rich green colour, and port, a dark red, are the two sea­sonal core colours for men and women this sea­son.

“There’s also eu­ca­lyp­tus (a shade of green), multi-print (a com­bi­na­tion of all the new fall colours and in dif­fer­ent shades of the colour) and fog (light tint of pink and grey),” says Tan Yin Yin, brand man­ager of Tumi.

For women, Belle­vue of­fers var­i­ous brief, satchel and tote op­tions in black and clay tones. Moor­land has more re­laxed op­tions of mes­sen­ger bags and shoul­der bags in soft leather and sim­ple sil­hou­ettes for the younger pro­fes­sional.

Georgetown in­cludes an up­dated as­sort­ment for carry-on con­ve­nience such as Po­tomac In­ter­na­tional Car­ryon, Burleith Board­ing Tote, Prospect Brief and Healy Lap­top At­tache.

“Moor­land (orig­i­nally for women) fea­tur­ing (soft) lamb skin leather is (now) a ‘uni­sex’ col­lec­tion. The Tumi logo was changed slightly to make it less fem­i­nine so that it would ap­peal to both men and women,” says Tan.

The more mas­cu­line Al­pha range was adapted and re­cre­ated into the Georgetown col­lec­tion for women.

For the Voyageur line, there are ul­tra-light­weight and ver­sa­tile travel cases and ac­ces-ac­ces­sories for women.

“This sea­son, there is also the Voyageur Baby Bag for mums and dads. It’s a black­black bag with multi-com­part­mentspart­ments for baby’s clothes and di­a­pers, two side pock-pock­ets for milk bot­tles, a chang­ing mat and a bear tag,” says Tan.

Seu­rat fea­tures “prim and pol­ished” ac­ces­sories like wal­lets and travel clutches. Sloane is all about totes and satch-satchels in the au­tum­nal colours of black and brown. The Va­por line of­fers pro­tec­tive hard-shell cas­ing in wil­low, cop­per and a multi-colour com­bi­na­tion of the two.

Men can take their pick from col­lec­tions like Bed­ford, Kaden, Al­pha Bravo (or Bravo) and Al­pha.

The exclusive Bed­ford col­lec­tion merges firm sil­hou­ettes, and sub­tle black and earl grey tones with the finest leathers.

“It’s a re­ally lux­u­ri­ous trunk in earl grey with coated can­vas for a nice fin­ish. This trunk is made-to-or­der, and takes six to seven months to be made,” she ex­plains.

Kaden has the new­est all-leather day bags in as­phalt and tan, and in­te­grates un­coated vegetable-tanned and full-grain leather.

Tan de­scribes the Al­pha Bravo col­lec­tion as “more ca­sual, youth­ful and fea­tur­ing more in­verted seams to add more curves”.curves”. The line fea­tures light­weight yet rugged de­signs and fab­rics.

The re­laxed satchels in black, spruce and an­thracite may ap­peal to the busi­ness trav­eller. The Al­pha col­lec­tion is an ex­ec­u­tive core range (of re­laxed mes­sen­ger bags and satchels) with in­dus­trial and squar­ish fea­tures. Sea­sonal colours in­clude wil­low and port as well as espresso, with clas­sic caramel full-grained leather trim in 10 styles.
