EXPERIENCE Lacoste in a totally different way at the brand’s L.12.12 pop-up store. Designed as a travelling concept store that will literally “pop up” in various locations, the store puts the iconic L.12.12 polo shirt in the limelight by giving insight into its history and heritage. Incidentally, for those curious about where the polo gets its name: the L means Lacoste, 1 refers to the classic piqué fabric used, 2 is for the short sleeves, and 12 refers to the number of prototypes produced before founder Rene Lacoste approved the result.
Here’s how the pop-popup store works. Pick youryour desired colour and size from the selection of L.12.12 polos (priced at RM299 each) on sale. Then, customise your choice by choosing a free badge from the selection that has been produced specially for the pop-up store, which will be sewn on for you on the spot.
The L.12.12 pop-up store was recently launched at 1 Utama shopping centre in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
