A good foundation in English

The Star Malaysia - Star2 - - EDUCATION GUIDE -

A GOOD foundation in English Language is the building block to a bright future for your child.

Parents want the best for their children and spend many hours thinking about what that “best” course might be.

Awan Sensory Marketing Sdn Bhd (ASMA) is the master licensee of Pingu’s English in Malaysia.

It strives to be the leading English learning solution provider for young learners in Malaysia and has incorporated the Cambridge Young Learners English Test (CYLET) into its Pingu’s English programmes nationwide.

Pingu’s English Malaysia is now the official authorised language assessment body for the University of Cambridge, London.

ASMSB’s managing director Nawar Mani says that with so many different children’s English language courses available, it can be a tough job choosing the right course for the child.

“Parents will need to consider whether the course is pedagogically or educationally sound, of high quality and engages or stimulates their child in the learning process with varied fun-filled activities,” she says.

Pingu’s English delivers all these and more. It engages the child from the start with highly stimulating topics and situations.

It also provides a wide range of multimedia learning materials – from study books, songs, story books, audio CDs and DVDs to highvalue online and interactive contents, tests, games and activities.

The wide range of materials and activities helps motivate the child while keeping them focused on learning English according to their learning inclination or ability.

Pingu’s English helps the child to gradually build up knowledge and confidence in five key areas of language development: listening, comprehension, speaking, reading and writing.

With the incorporation of YLE (starters), the programme aims to deliver skills in academic and communication excellence.

ASMS offers the highest quality of professional English teaching in their classrooms.

Using the Pingu’s English advanced workbooks, children have a more focused approach to mastering the learning of English, be it written or spoken, in preparation for formal education.

Pingu’s enhanced programme with the incorporation of Cambridge Young Learners will walk the child through starter, mover and flyer levels.

ASMS is also looking to open more centres nationwide. Those looking for a profitable child-related business opportunity or have an existing child enrichment centre and are looking to incorporate a quality English language programme are encouraged to find out more about the licensing/franchising opportunity.
