Gastronomic treats aplenty
THIS Christmas, get set for a treat at Victoria Station. Sit back, relax and enjoy your Christmas meal as you bask in the spirit of the season amid the fine ambience of the restaurant. The Station Christmas Menu is available for lunch and dinner from Dec 17 to 25 and features mouth-watering goodies that would set the mood just right for the season.
Start off with the appetiser, Santa’s Hors d’ Oeuvre that features deep-fried scallops and smoked salmon served with double crème and dill sauce.
The smoked salmon is homemade, boasting taste and texture that is just right.
The special homemade double cream and dill sauce is smooth and creamy and complements the salmon and scallops exceptionally well, enhancing the overall taste of the dish beautifully. The presentation of the appetiser makes it a visual feast as well.
The Lobster Bisque that follows is a thick, rich broth with lobster chunks to warm up your Christmas. This flavourful tomatobased soup is hearty and rich, without being cloying. This would definitely warm up the tummy in preparation for the main course to follow.
The VS Turkey roasted the traditional way is served with a chestnut stuffing, carrot, broccoli, skillet potatoes, chicken sausages, cranberry and roast turkey sauce.
At Victoria Station, the turkey is cooked the traditional way which results in a succulent, well-flavoured delight. This year, you can expect an enhanced version for improved texture and flavour.
At first bite, you can taste the subtle hints of bay leaf, rosemary and thyme, which have been used in its preparation.
The chestnut stuffing enhances its overall taste and texture and the cranberry sauce adds a hint of sweetness to round it all up.
Santa’s Sweet Tooth features Traditional Minced Pie and Christmas Pudding desserts.
Thie year, the homemade mince pies have been made according to an improved recipe, which reflects its delicious taste.
Also homemade, the Christmas Pudding is rich in taste and not overly sweet.
This traditional Christmas dessert is definitely a wonderful way to round up your Christmas meal.
For the finale, Santa’s Break features brewed coffee or tea, which you can sip on while catching up with each other on the past year’s happenings.
