SUN­WAY Re­sort Ho­tel & Spa ush­ers in the fes­tive sea­son with De­cem­ber Dreams, which fea­tures an amaz­ing range of ac­com­mo­da­tion choices, din­ing and other cel­e­bra­tory pack­age deals from Nov 25 to Jan 2, 2014.

A main din­ing high­light mak­ing its fes­tive de­but is Fuzion’s 12 Days to Christ­mas from Dec 14 to 25 – a feast of a dozen tra­di­tional dishes in­spired by global kitchens and great recipes nightly at Fuzion’s live ac­tion sta­tions din­ner buf­fet from 6.30pm on­wards.

The Fuzion’s culi­nary brigade takes in­spi­ra­tion from the fes­tive menus of Europe, Mid­dle East and Asia. The 12-day count­down be­gins on Satur­day, Dec 14 with the first dish and con­tin­ues un­til Christ­mas when all 12 tra­di­tional fes­tive dishes are of­fered as part of Fuzion’s Christ­mas high tea and din­ner buf­fets.

Three Ital­ian Christ­mas clas­sic dishes will be fea­tured.

The main high­light is the Ital­ian Home­made Tortellini with Napoli­tano Sauce. The sec­ond is also a pasta dish, Home­made Ravi­oli With Spinach And Ri­cotta Cheese.

A favourite Ital­ian dessert, the Struf­foli With Honey is a time-hon­oured fes­tive favourite not only dur­ing Christ­mas, but also for Easter.

The Hun­gar­ian Stuffed Cab­bage, also known as Cab­bage Roll, is a pop­u­lar Balkan cui­sine.

Adding colour to the fes­tive spread is the Ja­maican Rice And Peas.

Kare­lian Pasteis, Po­tato and Car­rot Casse­role, ubiq­ui­tous Fin­nish mini-tarts are made from a thin rye crust with pureed po­tato and car­rot fill­ing.

Fuzion also serves up a fish dish, rep­re­sent­ing Ger­man Christ­mas cul­ture – Grilled Carp Fish With Jacket Pota­toes.

A tra­di­tional Christ­mas feast is never com­plete with­out serv­ings of roasted and stuffed meat. On the menu for this sea­son at Fuzion are six dif­fer­ent of­fer­ings of flavour­ful meat us­ing recipes from Europe, Mid­dle East and Asia.

From France, try the Chest­nut Stuffed Goose. Mov­ing fur­ther down south to Por­tu­gal, is the Por­tuguese Roast Lamb, while a Dan­ish dish, Roast Duck With Ap­ple And Prune Stuff­ing pleases taste­buds with its sweet fruit stuff­ing. Adding an Asian flavour is the Hong Kong Roast Chicken.

Stuffed Tur­key, a Christ­mas sta­ple, is pre­pared us­ing two dif­fer­ent recipes. Award-win­ning Syr­ian Chef Khder Al-Issa dishes up his very own Syr­ian Stuffed Tur­key With Green Wheat And Chest­nut. In keep­ing with tra­di­tion, Fuzion also of­fers the tra­di­tional English Roast Tur­key With Bread Sauce And Brus­sels Sprouts.

Th­ese 12 tra­di­tional fes­tive del­i­ca­cies served in­di­vid­u­ally on dif­fer­ent days, come to­gether on Christ­mas Day for a grand cel­e­bra­tory feast.

Fuzion’s 12 Days to Christ­mas buf­fet din­ner is priced at RM89++ per adult with a 50% dis­count for chil­dren be­tween the ages of 4 and 12.

On the night of Christ­mas Eve, the buf­fet is priced at RM128++ per adult and RM64++ per child. Christ­mas Day Hi-Tea is priced at RM85++ per adult and RM43++ per child.

Guests din­ing at Fuzion on Christ­mas Eve will be ser­e­naded by a strolling band as well as Christ­mas carollers. A Santa Pa­rade spreads the sea­son’s joy and a ma­gi­cian cap­ti­vates din­ers to cre­ate a joy­ful at­mos­phere, con­tin­u­ing into high tea on Christ­mas day.

Al­ter­na­tively, ring in the bells of the sea­son at The Atrium at Pyra­mid Tower Ho­tel. Din­ers can en­joy a feast of lo­cal del­i­ca­cies with tra­di­tional Christ­mas musthaves. Priced at RM98++ per adult and RM49++ per child for the Christ­mas Eve din­ner and RM59++ per adult and RM28++ per child for Christ­mas Day High Tea, din­ers can dine at the buf­fets to the ac­com­pa­ni­ment of Christ­mas carollers belt­ing out Yule­tide favourites with the thrills of a ma­gi­cian and a Santa Pa­rade bear­ing gifts for all.

Sun­way Re­sort Ho­tel & Spa’s chefs also of­fer de­lec­ta­ble gourmet take-away from its Fes­tive Counter for a leisurely feast at home with loved ones.
