Caring for the community
EXPERIENCE Christmas out of a story book at CITTA Mall with its theme for this year’s Yuletide being A Fairy Tale Christmas.
Join the All I Want For Christmas Is... contest and you stand to win prizes worth up to RM40,000 in products. This contest is in collaboration with Macy as the main sponsor.
Shoppers need only snap a photo of the item they wish for at the Macy store in CITTA Mall and register for the contest. They stand a chance to bring home their desired gift.
CITTA Mall is also supporting the Rotary Club of Bandar Utama as one of the venues for the Typhoon Haiyan relief initiative.
In addition, shoppers will be entertained by a line-up of stage performances such as Cinderella, Fantasy Ballet and Magical Harp.
There are also character walkabouts for photo opportunities and candy giveaways for children.
Shoppers are also invited to participate in a colouring contest and there are workshops for children on decorating Santa hats and making snow globes.
The highlight would be CITTA Mall’s Royal Christmas Tea Party which will be held on Dec 15 for children aged between four and 12. The children will have to dress up as their favourite fairy tale character.
There will be a candy buffet, photo booth, a special performance of Genie and the Magic Lamp. The event is free for the first 100 registrations. Best of all, the mall is giving away an iPad Mini to the best dressed contestant at the party.
This year, CITTA Mall has joined forces with Tourism Selangor as venue sponsors for their annual Christmas Open House. During this event, a charity home will be invited to join in the festivities.
The mall is also supporting the Rotary Club of Bandar Utama to collect funds for their charity programmes: Fight Hunger, Child Sexual Abuse Prevention and Music Dream Centre for Autistic children.
They will also be having an exclusive children’s fair, held in collaboration with BangBae Trading, on the third floor.
CITTA Mall chose to have “fairy tales” as its theme so that they can better relate to the community. Fairy tales have always held a special place in the hearts of people of all ages.
The stories of love, joy and happiness blend well with the season of giving and sharing.
The mall has prepared a line-up of events to entertain and encourage participation from shoppers. Everything is planned to promote the mall as a preferred venue for this year’s Christmas celebration.
Previously the mall hosted a Lantern Parade in September, which gathered more than 500 people.
A Halloween Trick or Treat party in October gathered more than 150 families joining in the fun.
CITTA Mall offers a vast array of quality F&B outlets, with international and local brands such as Chili’s Bar & Grill, Nando’s, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, Las Delicias, Wondermilk, Chawan and Unique Seafood Restaurant.
MBO Cinemas’ flagship outlet is located on the third floor and boasts the latest in cinematic technology with 4K screens, actuator seats and four 3-D halls.
Other mini anchor tenants include Harvey Norman, Macy, Presto supermarket, Ace Hardware, Julia Gabriel & Chiltern House, BBQ King’s flagship store and a 24-hour McDonald’s outlet.
CITTA Mall emphasises green living and the love for the environment. It promotes up-cycling and recycling of products in any way it can. It also is the home to a 50year-old rain tree that can be seen at the main outdoor car park on the ground floor.
