Shar­ing a pas­sion for learn­ing

Award at the In­ter­na­tional Aca­demic Con­fer­ence 2013 held at UiTM in Tereng­ganu for their re­search on “Vi­sion Sci­ence”.

Also, culi­nary chef lec­turer Kevin Ryan from SEGi Univer­sity’s School of Hos­pi­tal­ity and Tourism re­cently gar­nered a gold medal (Team) and a sil­ver medal (In­di­vid­ual) for his ef­forts at the In­ter­na­tional Chef Com­pe­ti­tion 2013. The com­pe­ti­tion was or­gan­ised by the In­dian Chef Club As­so­ci­a­tion Sin­ga­pore (ICCAS), in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the In­dian Restau­rant As­so­ci­a­tion Sin­ga­pore (IRAS), City Gas Sin­ga­pore and the Sin­ga­pore Chef As­so­ci­a­tion.

If you are in­ter­ested in the arts and de­sign, the Fac­ulty of Cre­ative Arts and De­sign at SEGi Col­lege Subang Jaya in Se­lan­gor has a for­mi­da­ble teach­ing team. Mu­si­cian and com­poser, Yii Kah Hoe, is a se­nior lec­turer at the fac­ulty.

A num­ber of the fac­ulty’s lec­tur­ers are also ac­tive in art ex­hi­bi­tions, the lat­est be­ing The Jour­ney Con­tin­ues art ex­hi­bi­tion at Gehrig’s Gallery in Pe­nang, which fea­tured the works of lec­turer Brid­get Lee.

By learn­ing from knowl­edge­able lec­tur­ers with in­dus­trial ex­pe­ri­ence, stu­dents at SEGi are as­sured that their best abil­i­ties will be de­vel­oped and pre­pare them for life be­yond grad­u­a­tion.
