THE long-awaited hol­i­day sea­son is just weeks away, call­ing for all to cel­e­brate love and to­geth­er­ness among fam­ily and friends. This Christ­mas and New Year, Dou­bleTree by Hil­ton KL in­vites guests to take plea­sure in the sump­tu­ous cuisines pre­pared by their chefs.

Makan Kitchen

A true show­case of Malaysian din­ing, Makan Kitchen is filled with var­i­ous culi­nary ac­tions where spe­cialty chefs dish up no less than six lo­cal cuisines.

The ho­tel’s Ital­ian Trat­to­ria of­fers a per­fect twist of Ital­ian for this year’s cel­e­bra­tion din­ners.

On Christ­mas Eve, a sump­tu­ous ar­ray of dishes in­clud­ing pan-roast lemon sole, turkey and truf­fle roulade and Christ­mas cho­co­late tart, just to name a few, will be pre­sented to guests.

The Five-Course New Year’s Eve Din­ner will show­case de­li­cious op­tions of grilled Wagyu beef sir­loin steak, oven-roast Chilean sea bass and a dark cho­co­late and rasp­berry mousse – all per­fectly paired with fine wines in­clud­ing Chardon­nay, Prosecco, Pino­tage, Mer­lot and Mus­cat for those in favour of the wine pair­ing ar­range­ment.

The Food Store

A great ad­di­tion to the Tosca and Makan Kitchen of­fer­ings is the se­lec­tion of won­der­ful hol­i­day treats that can be found at The Food Store, the ho­tel’s bak­ery cum deli.
