Savour Yule­tide de­lights by the beach

A MED­LEY of culi­nary treats set the stage for joy­ful mo­ments this fes­tive sea­son at Golden Sands Re­sort.

Cel­e­brate Yule­tide in the trop­ics as you dine un­der the stars at Sigi’s Bar and Grill. There are four­course Gourmet Set Din­ners, on both Christ­mas Eve and Christ­mas Day.

As you savour the de­lec­ta­ble cre­ations by the re­sort chefs, you will be ser­e­naded by the res­i­dent band.

Over at the Gar­den Café, the Christ­mas Eve Buf­fet Din­ner serves up a wide se­lec­tion of in­ter­na­tional dishes and sea­sonal de­lights. There will also be en­ter­tain­ment by a strolling band and clown.

The fes­tive feast­ing con­tin­ues with Christ­mas Day Buf­fet Lunch and Din­ner, each packed to the brim with in­ter­na­tional flavours and Yule­tide good­ies.

On Box­ing Day, Sigi’s of­fers A la Carte Spe­cials, while Gar­den Café serves up another sump­tu­ous Buf­fet Din­ner.

On New Year’s Eve, savour more de­lec­ta­ble cre­ations with Sigi’s and Gar­den Café’s A la Carte Lunches.

Big eaters may grav­i­tate to the In­ter­na­tional Buf­fet Din­ner, com­pris­ing a med­ley of Asian and Western fare, at the lat­ter dur­ing the evening.

Al­ter­na­tively, dress up cow­boy style for a rau­cous, Wild Wild West count­down party by the beach at Sigi’s in­stead.

Start­ing from 8pm till late, there will be en­ter­tain­ment by top Malaysian band Mad Sally, and the Wild­cat dancers.

Din­ers stand to win amaz­ing lucky draw prizes as 2013 draws to a close, and 2014 dawns. The best dressed ones stand to win ad­di­tional good­ies.

There is still time for one last in­dul­gence, as both Sigi’s and Gar­den Café of­fer A la Carte Lunches on New Year’s Day.

At night, the café plays host to a Golden Sands Spe­cial Buf­fet Din­ner.
