The Star Malaysia - Star2 - - STYLE -

Other labels to look into for women include Stella McCartney. The label brings movement to life with elongated skirts creating a dynamic silhouette, as well as with exaggerated volume tipping the balance of silhouettes.

The collection from Marni is austere, with a romantic edge. It plays with ideas of volume and flatness, severity and grace, opacity and shine. Prints are graphic yet atmospheric, suggesting backdrops and scenarios for other stories.

Alexander Wang’s collection has a feeling of warmth, familiarity and softness. It denotes a vision of the core basics – such as a T-shirt, sweatshirt, denim jacket, a bomber, sweat pants – yet chic in design.

Acne presents a collaboration between artist Katerina Jebb, the Musée Galliera – Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris and Acne Studios. What is highlighted is a range of fashionable “artworks” and abstract interpretations, but extremely wearable all the same.
