End the year with a Western treat

AS a last hur­rah for the year, get fam­ily and friends to­gether for a de­lec­ta­ble feast at the Wind­mill Restau­rant.

For New Year’s Eve, there will be three dif­fer­ent sets to choose from. Each set com­prises a soup, en­tree, dessert and hot bev­er­age and also comes with a com­pli­men­tary gift to com­mem­o­rate the oc­ca­sion.

Whichever set you opt for, the meal be­gins with a hot bowl of home-made chicken and as­para­gus soup. A de­light­ful com­bi­na­tion, the in­gre­di­ents are fresh and the soup is so flavour­ful you can taste its good­ness. It’s per­fect to warm the tummy and get you ready for the main course.

The first op­tion of en­tree would be a choice for meat eaters – the ten­der and suc­cu­lent Char­broiled Rib Eye Steak and Chicken Fil­let served with veg­eta­bles, corn on cob and French fries, at RM69.90++.

If you are in the mood for seafood, go for the sec­ond op­tion, the Grilled Salmon and Tiger Prawn Combo served with veg­eta­bles, corn on cob and French fries, at RM69.90++.

The fi­nal op­tion and a favourite at Wind­mill is the creamy and cheesy Baked Half Lob­ster Ther­mi­dor with choice of Fish Fil­let or Chicken Fil­let served with veg­eta­bles, corn on the cob and pars­ley pota­toes at RM98.90++.

Once you’ve put all that away, make sure you leave some room for the scrump­tious dessert that fol­lows – the Fruit Cock­tail Ice Cream. End this won­der­ful meal with a cup of rich, steam­ing cap­puc­cino, which you can sip slowly while chat­ting with your fam­ily and friends.
