THIS New Year’s Eve, usher in 2014 in style at Vic­to­ria Sta­tion with its spe­cially cre­ated New Year Menu, which has been care­fully put to­gether to give you a de­light­fully gas­tro­nomic start into the New Year.

Avail­able on Dec 31 and Jan 1, 2014 for lunch and din­ner, the New Year Menu prom­ises you an in­dul­gent meal to re­mem­ber and the per­fect way to com­mem­o­rate the end­ing of the old year and the be­gin­ning of the new.

Start off with the ap­pe­tiser of Lob­ster Claw with Cream Cheese and Pa­paya. Fea­tur­ing a unique blend of tex­ture and flavours with the in­ge­nious pair­ing of pa­paya and smooth, vel­vety cream cheese that com­ple­ments the nat­u­ral sweet­ness of the whole lob­ster claw, this ap­pe­tiser hints heav­ily of the de­lights to fol­low.

The soup course is a de­light­ful Creamy Cele­riac with Ap­ple and Wal­nuts. The ad­di­tion of ap­ple and wal­nuts gives the hearty soup a sat­is­fy­ing crunch.

The main course fea­tures the pre­mium of­fer­ing of Half Lob­ster with Chanterelle Sauce com­bined with a choice of Grilled Grain-Fed Sir­loin or Chicken Roulade with VS Roast Sauce. It is served with po­tato of the day and prime veg­eta­bles.

You would def­i­nitely en­joy ev­ery morsel of the lob­ster which has a tex­ture and flavour that is won­der­fully en­hanced by the lux­u­ri­ous Chanterelle sauce.

Chanterelle is a sea­sonal mush­room that can be found in France. It lends an earthy, heady taste to the sauce and goes well with the suc­cu­lent lob­ster.

Meat lovers would def­i­nitely en­joy the sir­loin, grilled to just the right de­gree ac­cord­ing to your pref­er­ence.

Known as “The House of Fine Steak”, Vic­to­ria Sta­tion cer­tainly lives up to its rep­u­ta­tion of serv­ing mouth-wa­ter­ing, ten­der steaks cooked just the way you like.

The op­tion of Chicken Roulade with VS Roast Sauce fea­tures ten­der chicken breasts which are rolled up and grilled. The method of cook­ing re­tains the flavour and moist­ness of the chicken. The Roast Sauce en­hances the taste of the chicken.

Af­ter fin­ish­ing up the last mouth­ful of your main course, sit back and ea­gerly an­tic­i­pate the un­usual dessert to fol­low – Sum­mer Berry Pud­ding.

The re­fresh­ing dessert fea­tures a skin made from bread soaked in a con­coc­tion of berries which wraps a zesty mix­ture of berries. The per­fect way to end a per­fect meal.

For the fi­nale, choose be­tween an in­vig­o­rat­ing cup of brewed cof­fee or a soothing cup of brewed tea. Sit back, re­lax and en­joy a cosy tete-a-tete as you con­tent­edly soak in the con­ge­nial at­mos­phere of the restau­rant.
