THIS New Year’s Eve, usher in 2014 in style at Victoria Station with its specially created New Year Menu, which has been carefully put together to give you a delightfully gastronomic start into the New Year.
Available on Dec 31 and Jan 1, 2014 for lunch and dinner, the New Year Menu promises you an indulgent meal to remember and the perfect way to commemorate the ending of the old year and the beginning of the new.
Start off with the appetiser of Lobster Claw with Cream Cheese and Papaya. Featuring a unique blend of texture and flavours with the ingenious pairing of papaya and smooth, velvety cream cheese that complements the natural sweetness of the whole lobster claw, this appetiser hints heavily of the delights to follow.
The soup course is a delightful Creamy Celeriac with Apple and Walnuts. The addition of apple and walnuts gives the hearty soup a satisfying crunch.
The main course features the premium offering of Half Lobster with Chanterelle Sauce combined with a choice of Grilled Grain-Fed Sirloin or Chicken Roulade with VS Roast Sauce. It is served with potato of the day and prime vegetables.
You would definitely enjoy every morsel of the lobster which has a texture and flavour that is wonderfully enhanced by the luxurious Chanterelle sauce.
Chanterelle is a seasonal mushroom that can be found in France. It lends an earthy, heady taste to the sauce and goes well with the succulent lobster.
Meat lovers would definitely enjoy the sirloin, grilled to just the right degree according to your preference.
Known as “The House of Fine Steak”, Victoria Station certainly lives up to its reputation of serving mouth-watering, tender steaks cooked just the way you like.
The option of Chicken Roulade with VS Roast Sauce features tender chicken breasts which are rolled up and grilled. The method of cooking retains the flavour and moistness of the chicken. The Roast Sauce enhances the taste of the chicken.
After finishing up the last mouthful of your main course, sit back and eagerly anticipate the unusual dessert to follow – Summer Berry Pudding.
The refreshing dessert features a skin made from bread soaked in a concoction of berries which wraps a zesty mixture of berries. The perfect way to end a perfect meal.
