LOOKING at your life this Valentine’s Day and thinking you could do with a little more love in your life? Check out these tips.

Like yourself:

We’re trained to see the bad bits of ourselves and exhorted to improve – which is all good except that knowing your faults can go too far and leave you feeling unworthy. If you have made this error, chances are you’re actually pushing people away. So, take another look at yourself and see who you really are.

Know what you want:

Looks, money, education, sharing of hobbies…. Be totally honest with yourself and figure out what you want, then look for a match. It sounds cold but let’s be practical.

Take chances:

That person who fell in love with your image on Facebook is probably a con artist looking to milk your bank account. However, the friend of a friend you have a secret crush on is not out of your league and hasn’t got mind reading skills so ask him or her out today.

Mini dates:

A date need not be a fancy dinner – in fact, some of the best dates is about having fun. So when you want to get to know someone better, you needn’t propose anything dramatic: something simple would be perfect.
