BERJAYA University College of Hospitality (BERJAYA UCH) in collaboration with JEI University and Shingu College of South Korea recently hosted a joint “Korean Fair” dinner employing the unique BERJAYA Immersion Methodology where students are engaged through the “learning by doing” principle.

Four professors from JEI University flew in for the event to guide the students with the arrangements.

The buffet dinner was made possible through the hard work of JEI students working side by side with the School of Culinary Arts, headed by WACS Global Master Chef Jochen Kern. Service was provided by BERJAYA UCH School of Hospitality, headed by Najmi Abdullah and Kit Thong, whose team from the School of Tourism spruced up the place with Korean-inspired décor and assisted students from Shingu College market Korean products for the fair.

“As part of our strategic positioning, we embark on various global partnerships, a few of which are with Korean institutions of higher learning.

“BERJAYA UCH places interns in the Berjaya Group of Companies and our industry partners at short-term industry placements. These placements are English language-based
