The Star Malaysia - Star2 - - TV HIGHLIGHTS -

(National Geographic Hd, astro Ch 573, 9pm) See slices of life from behind the walls of asia’s largest prison, Tihar, in New delhi, India. Prisoners and staff members talk about their challenges, fears, anxieties, hopes and disappointments. It’s a world of hardened criminals prone to violent conflicts with one another and with the guards, yet it is also a correctional facility with a range of educational facilities and programmes designed to reform and rehabilitate. It’s a world where Manu Sharma, convicted for the sensational murder of a model, runs a factory, and where edward Joseph ellis, a british man charged with drug possession, has spent years fighting a court case. Fresh inmate ashir Kumar must learn the ways of prison life while awaiting a decision on his sentencing.
