Ungu in Malaysia

This Friday, Indonesian band Ungu will join Halim Othman and Adibah Noor on SuriaFM’s Celebriti Room Ceria Pagi. Their appearance on the show is in conjunction with Ungu’s first performance in Malaysia after the release of its single Bila Tiba last year.

Ungu – comprising Pasha, Makki, Enda, Onci and Rowman – will be performing at Star Stage, Kenanga Wholesale City Fashion Mall, Level 15, at 8.30pm.

Ungu was formed in 1996, but its first album, Laguku, was only released in 2002. The single Demi Waktu from its 2006 album Melayang made the group famous. The band won Best Rock Group/Duo and Best Song for Andai Ku Tahu in 2007 at Indonesia’s SCTV Music Awards 2007.

Catch Ungu on the air as the boys liven up the morning on Celebriti Room.
