KIA Motors America (KMA) has recorded January sales of 37,011 vehicles, driven by the United Statesbuilt Optima mid-size sedan and the totally transformed Soul.

After delivering seven new or significantly redesigned vehicles in 2013, the brand’s aggressive new product cadence continues this year as part of a long-term strategy to concentrate on quality, strengthen the brand and elevate the ownership experience.

The scheduled arrival of the new K900 rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan in the next few months symbolises how far Kia has come over the last two decades.

The multi-platform marketing campaign for the K900 showcases the luxury sedan as something modern and different for the growing number of people who don’t want to be confined by the traditional definitions of luxury.

Kia’s first-ever electric vehicle – the Soul EV – and new Sedona minivan will also go on sale in the United States this year.

The Optima mid-size sedan helped to drive Kia Motors America (KMA) to a record January 2014 sales of 37,011 vehicles.
