JEWELLERY brand Tous has chosen Gwyneth Paltrow as the star of their upcoming global advertising campaigns.

The first campaign to feature the Oscarwinning actress is named Tender Stories N º 4. Its main objective is to depict tenderness as a universal Tous value, through an appealing story using cinematographic treatment.

“We are delighted that Gwyneth is going to be the face of Tous,” said Rosa Tous, corporate vice- president of Tous. “As well as being an incredibly beautiful woman, Gwyneth is a talented actress who is able to transmit the essential value behind our brand: tenderness.”

For spring/ summer, Tous’ collection is inspired by dreamy looks, with elegant lines and pale pastels.

In Malaysia, Tous is available at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

ITALIAN fashion house Giorgio Armani is back with another make- up collection inspired by one of its catwalk shows. Created backstage at the SS16 show, this season’s “Runway” collection features four new products and was launched internationally last week.

For an easy way to recreate catwalk make- up looks, the “Runway” collection puts a selection of products developed exclusively behind the scenes at the label’s show up for public release. The products are developed using the Armani Runway Lab, a specially designed mobile make- up station with a huge range of pigments and textures that can be used to create new colours backstage. The creations mixed on- demand for the show are then developed into marketable make- up products a few months down the line. Armani’s Spring/ Summer 2016 collection focused on graphic lines and ethereal shapes, with flashes of red bringing a touch of stylish sensuality. This is clearly channelled in the “Runway” make- up collection too.

Models’ skin was kept fresh and natural, with lips given a light wash of subtle, shim- mering colour. This focused attention on their bright, cosmically colourful eyes, lifted with the electrifying flash of bright red lashes. Nails were also painted a glossy red shade. Linda Cantello, Giorgio Armani’s International Make- Up Artist, made this special seasonal collection based on the Spring/ Summer 2016 catwalk show, with four key products to recreate the look – the “Runway” face and eye palette, “Eye Tint” liquid eye colour, “Ecstasy Lacquer” lip lacquer and “Nail Lacquer” nail colour.

The face and eye palette includes a powder blush with a soft, velvety texture to bring a subtle glow to cheeks, as well as three iridescent eye shadows in pearl, pearl gray and pearl copper. Another option for luminous eyes is “Eye Tint”, with a liquid formulation that leaves lids with a shimmering wash of anthracite colour.

With attention fixed firmly on eyes, lips are kept natural with the glossy finish of “Ecstasy Lacquer.” The flash of red – a key theme for the spring/ summer 2016 collection – comes to nails with “Nail Lacquer” in Geranium Red.

As well as recreating runway looks, this capsule collection offers plenty of possibilities for make- up fans to get creative with their own combinations. – AFP Relaxnews
