As­soc Prof Bach­mann adds that the onus lies not only with com­pa­nies but with end con­sumers as well and he ques­tions if con­sumers are will­ing to pay the higher prices that re­sult from the pro­duc­tion of sus­tain­ably de­signed prod­ucts.
