In­fra­struc­ture Univer­sity Kuala Lumpur’s ( IUKL) Fac­ulty of Busi­ness and Ac­count­ing ( FBA) is a dis­tin­guished and com­pet­i­tive en­tity that be­lieves stu­dents should put the­o­ries into prac­tice to make real im­pact.

IUKL’s Bach­e­lor of Busi­ness Ad­min­is­tra­tion ( Hons) is unique in its ap­proach to man­age­ment, lead­er­ship and en­trepreneur­ship in the busi­ness arena.

The pro­gramme fo­cuses on how or­gan­i­sa­tions op­er­ate such as what they do, how they do it, the strate­gies used and their man­age­ment styles.

Stu­dents are ex­posed to skills that will be use­ful in their fu­ture ca­reer. Group work, one of the key parts of the many sub­jects of­fered, can help build team­work and lead­er­ship skills.

Stu­dents get the op­por­tu­nity to meet peo­ple and ex­tend their net­work through­out the pro­gramme. Upon grad­u­a­tion, stu­dents can read­ily demon­strate an un­der­stand­ing of mar­kets, fi­nance, op­er­a­tions, man­age­ment, man­ag­ing peo­ple and other busi­ness- re­lated fac­tors.

The Diploma in Busi­ness Ad­min­is­tra­tion also of­fers in­sights into the world of busi­ness ad­min­is­tra­tion and cov­ers a wide range of top­ics from man­age­ment to in­for­ma­tion tech­nol­ogy.

Stu­dents de­velop fun­da­men­tal skills to ac­quire knowl­edge in busi­ness, fi­nance, mar­ket­ing and man­age­ment. The course syl­labus has been care­fully de­signed to in­tro­duce new ideas and con­cepts emerg­ing in the mar­ket­place and stu­dents are ex­posed to class­room dis­cus­sions, case stud­ies and busi­ness plans.

IUKL’s Bach­e­lor of Ac­coun­tancy ( Hons) of­fers spe­cific knowl­edge of ac­count­ing, fi­nance, tax­a­tion, au­dit­ing, cost­ing, man­age­ment and eco­nom­ics.

The aims of this pro­gramme are to pro­duce com­pe­tent and ded­i­cated ac­coun­tants who pos­sess the at­tributes and skills re­quired in the ac­count­ing pro­fes­sion as well as de­velop a holis­tic un­der­stand­ing of busi­ness op­er­a­tions, par­tic­u­larly in all func­tional ar­eas of ac­count­ing.

Through in­dus­trial place­ment at es­tab­lished cor­po­ra­tions, stu­dents will be able to have valu­able hands- on ex­pe­ri­ence in real- life work­ing en­vi­ron­ments. The pro­gramme is also recog­nised by pro­fes­sional bod­ies such as ACCA ( As­so­ci­a­tion of Char­tered Cer­ti­fied Ac­coun­tants), CIMA ( Char­tered In­sti­tute of Man­age­ment Ac­coun­tants) and MICPA ( The Malaysian In­sti­tute of Cer­ti­fied Pub­lic Ac­coun­tants).

IUKL also of­fers the Diploma in Ac­count­ing pro­gramme. This two- and- a- half- year pro­gramme is de­signed to pro­vide sound knowl­edge on the im­por­tant prin­ci­ples and con­cepts of ac­count­ing, au­dit­ing, tax­a­tion as well as anal­y­sis of var­i­ous cor­po­rate fi­nan­cial state­ments.

The diploma aims to equip stu­dents with the abil­ity to adopt and ap­ply knowl­edge in real- life sit­u­a­tions to meet the de­mands and chal­lenges of the global econ­omy.

IUKL of­fers schol­ar­ships and tu­ition fee waivers of up to 60% to stu­dents who ex­cel in their stud­ies. Study loans from PTPTN and Yayasan Negeri are also avail­able.

Apart from th­ese, the IUKL Me­dia Education Fund schol­ar­ship, IUKL Sports Ex­cel­lence schol­ar­ships and flex­i­ble pay­ment scheme are also avail­able to aid stu­dents fi­nan­cially.

IUKL is host­ing its Info Day on March 26 and 27 from 10am to 4pm at its 100- acre ( 40.5ha) cam­pus. The March in­take is in progress and you can start a pro­gramme at IUKL with only RM100.
