REPUTABLE five- star hotel chain under the Accor Group, Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar, presented its Mid- Autumn Specials with a range of special hand- crafted baked and snow skin mooncake selections at one of its dining outlets – Oriental Thai Chinese Cuisine – on Aug 5.
Inspired by the Mid- Autumn Festival, usually a time for reunion and gatherings with loved ones, specialty chef of Oriental Thai Chinese Cuisine, chef Ng Ming Wai, created two variants of snow skin mooncakes and crafted seven other baked mooncake variants that captured hearts and satisfied even the fussiest of taste buds.
The preview showcased the Mid- Autumn Specials by Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar in preparation of the upcoming season celebrations, made even better when shared.
The mooncakes comprised two main types – baked and snow skin.
Baked selections include the Red Bean Paste ( RM16), Low Sugar White Lotus ( RM18), Pandan Lotus ( RM18), Pure Lotus Half Yolk ( RM20), Low Sugar White Lotus Half Yolk ( RM20), Pandan Lotus Half Yolk ( RM20) and Black Sesame Paste ( RM20).
The signature snow skin selections include the Pure Musang King Durian ( RM33) and the Low Sugar White Lotus with Bird’s Nest ( RM33). One can choose the premium and limited edition Pullman Mid- Autumn Gift Boxes that come with a tube of tea leaves each when they purchase six pieces of mooncakes.
The gift boxes can be converted to a tea- serving tray, making it an ideal gift for loved ones, colleagues and work associates.
