Slitherlink joy

The Star Malaysia - Star2 - - YOUR SAY -

SINCE the beginning of August this year, I have been spending an extra 45- 60 minutes per day on The Star immediately after my breakfast – but I am not complaining. I know of many readers who are doing just the same. I am talking of the reintroduction of Slitherlink puzzles in your daily which used to be a weekly affair earlier on.

I have a suggestion to make to enhance the game and to make it more appealing to a wider spread of readers. The 10x18 puzzles are tough and I doubt many of your readers can solve them. Why not publish a mix of easy, medium and hard ones on different days to add varieties?

There have been rumours that the Malaysia Sudoku Society may reintroduce the Slitherlink event in its forthcoming 2016 Annual Sudoku Championship. If so, credit must go to The Star for being the first newspaper in Malaysia to begin the daily publishing and promotion of this wonderful game.

Keep up your good work.
