NEW York Fashion Week recently ended and it saw high- profile shows from Alexander Wang and Tommy Hilfiger.
Here’s a look at some of the highlights seen on the runway.
Tommy Hilfiger and Gigi Hadid made an unstoppable duo when the pair unveiled their Tommy x Gigi collection to a full house, including a front row that featured Taylor Swift.
The festivities lasted a whole two days, in the form of a public fun fair, and the collection was immediately available for purchase following the show.
Lacoste took a relaxed approach to Spring/ Summer 2017 unveiling a series of softly draped terry dresses in calming hues.
The tennis- inspired label paired comfy fits and minimalistic lines with tropical, preppy prints infused with the idea of summer getaways.
Victoria Beckham was
another designer opti ing for a relaxed aesthetic for Spring/ Summer 2017 , unveiling slouchy dresses in soft crushed velvets and silks, paired with kneehigh flat canvas boots for extra comfort.
The designer focus sed on plush colours ranging from luxurious creams to turquoises, lilacs and rich violets, with pieces often worn open to reveal matching bras.
Meanwhile Altuzarra also played with bright colours, debuting a flirtatious collection centered around frills, ruffles and summery pastel tones.
Things got a little grittier when Alexander Wang at last revealed his highly-anticipated collection for Adidas Originals, focusing on unisex streetwear basics with an urban and subversive feel.
He also debuted the Spring/ Summer 2017 collection for his eponymous label, which was rooted in a sports- like, deconstructed California vibe, with sexy black leather pieces pepped up by retro neon hues.
