LAST week, You-Tuber Jenn Chia tagged Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng on Facebook urging for his support for laws against sexual grooming.

She was in R.AGE’s office for a live interview, which you can watch at fb. com/ragepmp. Jenn had also filmed a PSA video for the campaign, where she read messages from actual sex predators.

“When I was reading the dirty messages, it gave me a flashback to years ago when I was younger.

“As a little girl, i wanted attention and recognition. People should watch this video and know that there are predators out there preying on people like this,” she said.

EMCEE and host JJ Fernandez was also live on the Predator In My Phone Facebook page last week, and he told the story of his friend’s 11-year-old daughter, who was sexually groomed online.

He then messaged Subang MP Sivarasa K. Rasiah on Twitter to sup- port the #MPsAgainstPredators campaign, and urged the public to lobby their respective MPs.

“The louder the noise on the issue, the higher the priority. If you care about the issue, please make some noise about it. You have the power, so please stop being on the sidelines as a keyboard warrior.”
