Some are calling Creed the best Rocky movie since the 1976 original film. Sylvester Stallone reprises his role as iconic former world boxing champion Rocky Balboa, who now serves as a trainer to Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan), the son of his late friend and former nemesis Apollo Creed. Stallone’s performance here was so critically acclaimed, he picked up a Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe award and Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination early this year. Tessa Thompson and Phylicia Rashad also star.
