THE world of business is a challenging and demanding one.

Managing changes, crisis, risks and human resource demands creativity and speed in getting solutions to problems.

A good foundation in the fundamentals of management is crucial while entrepreneurial skills are no longer an option but arequisite.

KDU Penang University College (KDU Penang) diploma and degree courses provide students with no less than what they require to succeed in the world of international business.

Its School of Business prides itself in the highest standard of teaching, research and its close links to the industry, all of which lead to the development of high-calibre graduates with employability.

“Here at the School of Business, we are often asked about our alumni and how they’re getting on with their work life following graduation.

“We know some of them pursue higher postgraduate studies while others go abroad,” said the School of Business head Dr Tony Stevenson.

Its curriculum connects with the world of commerce, aiming to maximise employment for its graduates.

“Because we take employability very seriously at KDU, we decided to take a look at how some of our students are doing following their studies. We are delighted to report that some 98.4% of our graduates are in employment within three months of graduation,” Stevenson added.

Stevenson also stated that business students have excelled in the areas of human resources, marketing and finance.

With a 94% record in employment within three months, some are also employed as executives in top ranking organisations.

“Our graduates are sought after and continuously hired by prestigious organisations such as OCBC, National Instruments, Hong Leong Group, Plexus, Dell, B. Braun, UOA, Deloitte, Great Eastern Insurance and Maybank, to name a few,” he added.
