A mis­sion for hy­giene

GERM pro­tec­tion brand Det­tol and the Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion re­cently kicked off Mis­sion For Hy­giene at Seko­lah Ke­bangsaan Seksyen 7 in Shah Alam. In its fourth year run­ning, the pro­gramme pro­motes healthy hy­giene habits among school chil­dren. This in­cludes the stu­dents keep­ing their school in a clean and healthy en­vi­ron­ment. The cer­e­mony was at­tended by Tif­fany Tang, mar­ket­ing di­rec­tor of Reckitt Benckiser Malaysia and Sin­ga­pore, which man­u­fac­tures and mar­kets Det­tol prod­ucts in these coun­tries. The brand aims to reach an­other 150,000 stu­dents in 200 pri­mary schools and 50 kinder­gartens in Malaysia through­out 2017. Also present was Datuk P. Ka­malanathan, Deputy Ed­u­ca­tion Min­is­ter, who stressed the im­por­tance of school hy­giene and the stu­dents’ roles in mak­ing Det­tol’s mis­sion a suc­cess.
