IF you’re going for a relaxed elegant look, the Kavita Fiore Raya 2017 collection will have what you need.

The namesake brand of Kavita Sidhu, its pieces have a luxurious feel and look. This particular collection sees floral silks in vibrant colours.

“I always look forward to designing my yearly Raya Collection as it represents a design aesthetic that I love and is close to my heart – classic, elegant lines that make a woman feel beautiful and modest at the same time,” said Kavita in a press release.

“With fashion being so quick in evolving trends and always seemingly rushing to cater to a fickle market, I have always believed that going back to simple, flattering and classic silhouettes have always worked best for my customers. More so when I’m creating a collection that represents our tradition and culture, I feel a huge responsibility in how I dress my customers. My fabric and print design are the most important elements, and from there I create the piece with a modern twist to it. “

You can find a selection of modern kurungs and flowy kaftan styles, all easy-towear pieces that can work from day to night.

Kavita launched her first collection in 2010 and says the fashion brand represents “modern luxury, infused by the bohemian spirit and an aspirational sense of laid-back glamour.”

“I am inspired by the beauty of women and I embrace a style that is extremely feminine and luxurious – adaptability being the essence of the brand.

“My job as a designer is to make it easier for a woman to dress. I am a great believer in accentuating the positive and deleting the negative.”
