MALAYSIA is in need of highly skilled hu­man re­sources to close the present de­mand-sup­ply gap in var­i­ous in­dus­tries, par­tic­u­larly those driv­ing eco­nomic trans­for­ma­tion.

The gov­ern­ment has de­ter­mined the Tech­ni­cal and Vocational Ed­u­ca­tion and Train­ing (TVET) sec­tor as the main route in pro­vid­ing highly skilled hu­man re­sources and also one of the key drivers of the econ­omy for Malaysia to be­come a high-in­come na­tion.

Be­ing aware of this, Man­age­ment and Science Uni­ver­sity (MSU) Col­lege of­fers Diploma in Elec­tri­cal and Elec­tronic Engi­neer­ing through its School of Science and Tech­nol­ogy (SST) for SPM school-leavers with keen in­ter­est to study in this area.

This pro­gramme gen­er­ally deals with the study and ap­pli­ca­tion of elec­tric­ity, elec­tron­ics and elec­tro­mag­netism.

Stu­dents will learn in depth about the con­cepts and ap­pli­ca­tions of power gen­er­a­tion, trans­mis­sion and dis­tri­bu­tion of engi­neer­ing.

This will en­able stu­dents to un­der­stand the fun­da­men­tals of elec­tri­cal and elec­tronic engi­neer­ing.
