LIT­TLE warms the ap­petite like the scent of freshly baked bread. Ko­mugi of­fers a va­ri­ety of de­li­ciously au­then­tic prod­ucts, from hand­made Ja­panese bread to de­light­ful cakes and de­lec­ta­ble pas­tries.

Sig­na­ture pas­tries

Its sig­na­ture pas­tries in­clude the Han­juku Cheese Cake, Pud­ding, Baum and Cot­tage Cheese, among other fresh hand­made bak­ery prod­ucts.

Its team of ex­pe­ri­enced and pas­sion­ate chefs bake ev­ery­thing daily to en­sure that cus­tomers en­joy only the fresh­est prod­ucts, all made from nat­u­ral, pre­mium in­gre­di­ents flown from Ja­pan.

Of­fer­ing more than 100 se­lec­tions, Ko­mugi as­pires to make all cus­tomers smile upon savour­ing the first bite.

Ko­mugi is owned and op­er­ated by Mul­ti­ple Re­ward Sdn Bhd, a fully owned sub­sidiary of Fo­cus Point Hold­ings Ber­had. It has three re­tail con­cept stores – bak­ery, cafe and deli con­cept.

Ko­mugi was founded in 2012 with its first out­let in Mid Val­ley Mega­mall, fea­tur­ing the bak­ery con­cept.

In 2013, the first deli con­cept out­let was in­tro­duced in Pavil­ion Kuala Lumpur mall, fol­lowed by the cafe con­cept out­let in Main Place the year af­ter.

Ko­mugi ven­tured into the Philip­pines’ mar­ket in 2015 through fran­chis­ing and the first in­ter­na­tional out­let is lo­cated in Land­mark Makati, Manila.

In 2016, Ko­mugi in­tro­duced its first lo­cal fran­chise out­let in Vi­vac­ity Mega­mall, Kuch­ing.

Its new flag­ship re­tail bak­ery con­cept out­let in Pavil­ion Kuala Lumpur mall was also in­tro­duced in Novem­ber the same year.

This year, the com­pany con­tin­ues its ex­pan­sion by open­ing out­lets in Jo­hor Baru and Malacca through fran­chis­ing.

Out­lets

To date, Ko­mugi op­er­ates a to­tal of 20 out­lets – five fran­chise out­lets in the Philip­pines, 12 di­rectly owned out­lets and three fran­chise out­lets in Malaysia.

For the Malaysian mar­ket, fran­chis­ing op­por­tu­nity is avail­able in all ma­jor cities, in­clud­ing Pe­nang, Ipoh, Serem­ban, Kuan­tan and Kota Kin­a­balu.
