The track, which was in­cluded in Combs’ de­but al­bum No

Way Out, also fea­tured vo­cals from singer Faith Evans and R&B group 112.

I’ll Be Miss­ing You spent 11 weeks on top of the Bill­board Hot 100 chart and re­ceived a Grammy for Best Rap Per­for­mance By A Duo Or Group. No

Way Out also won a Grammy for Best Rap Al­bum.

I’ll Be Miss­ing You was later named No. 99 on Bill­board’s list of Great­est Hot 100 Songs of All Time.

In a re­cent in­ter­view, Combs said he still feels the emo­tional im­pact of B.I.G’s death.

“That’s some­thing life-chang­ing. It’s a real heavy weight to wear on your­self. You get guilt when you lose a friend. It could have been you. You have to deal with that. I’m blessed to be here and I just want to do the best I can,” he said in an in­ter­view with Peo­ple.
