Culinary journey to savour
THE new limited Icônes d’or (or Gold Icons) collection from Godiva promises a culinary journey to savour. Chef chocolatiers Jean Apostolou and Ilse Wilmots were inspired by the culinary food art trend. The collection sees a re-birth of Godiva’s most iconic pieces: the Ecusson (the Lion) and Lady Godiva. New ingredient pairings such as lemon olive oil, lime, passion fruit, pink pepper and mango punctuate the milk and dark pieces. They are presented in pretty hues like pink, green, orange and yellow. The bold flavours are complemented by traditional offerings such as ginger, aromatic black tea, apple and pecan, which are encased in premium milk or dark chocolate shells.
