The perfect ‘duck’ face
Duck Cosmetics’ debut collection includes basics and must-have items.
VIVY Yusof, co-founder of FashionValet and founder of Duck Group recently launched her highly anticipated beauty brand, Duck Cosmetics.
The Duck brand currently includes scarves, stationery, home and living products.
In line with the expansion of the brand, it also has its own store.
“I’m so honoured and proud that I could present Duck Cosmetics in one of the most prestigious malls in Malaysia. As the first local beauty brand to have a store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, we welcomed over a thousand guests when we opened our doors on September 2,” said Vivy. Vivy says that Duck Cosmetics understands the different needs of customers so her products are catered for skin tones that are darker to lighter, as well as with safe ingredients. — Photos: Duck Cosmetics
“It’s been a dream come true for me. As with all our creations from The Duck Group, we wanted Duck Cosmetics to be different. Just like our scarves, it is so much more than just products – it is a lifestyle!”
“No matter what our personalities, makeup can change the look. Whether to highlight, improve or transform, the magic of cosmetics is endless!” she adds.
The brand is housed in an all white interior that strategically faces the Duck Scarves boutique. The brightly lit store, complete with the brand’s signature duck logo, is now a make-up haven for beauty lovers.
The Duck Cosmetics’ debut collection comprises Vivy’s basic and crucial items in a woman’s daily routine and it has some witty names.
There’s a full range of lip products from the #Lipstickwitu Lipsticks and #GlossGirl Lip Gloss to #MatteDecisions Lip Cream. Then there is the #AllEyeAsk Eyeshadow Palette in two variants of nude and smokey. Finally, there’s a clever foamy #nofilter Makeup Remover with the triple function of removing make-up, cleansing and toning.
Presented in the brand’s signature purple
packaging to represent its Basics, each purchase comes with a personal note.
Duck Cosmetics’ ingredients are formulated in the United Kingdom and the cosmetics are made in China.
Vivy points out that they are in the midst of getting halal certification for Duck Cosmetics, which is free from parabens and animal testing. A full range of colour cosmetics will be launched within the year.
