IT’S Jackie Chan vs Pierce Brosnan in this movie which centres around terrorism. Set in England and Ireland, the film has Chan in an unconventional role – more espionage, less kung-fu. Meanwhile, Brosnan does have a scene that recalls his previous role as James Bond.
But there are inconsistencies in the film that might irk the audience, like why is Chan’s character said to be from China when his name is Ngoc Minh Quan, which is obviously Vietnamese. Also, why is he referred to as a foreigner when he seems to know the streets of London and Ireland like the back of his hand? Hmmm ....
