Black Panther

The Star Malaysia - Star2 - - Living -

THE Black Panther trailer just demands your attention, doesn’t it? The Marvel Studios upcoming film is set in a (secret) technologically-advanced African nation named Wakanda where ships fly. The nation is also in possession of advanced weapons thanks to the meteoric ore vibranium. But as glimpsed in the trailer, the story also explores a man’s strengths and flaws at his most animalistic level. Prince T’Challa (aka Black Panther, portrayed by Chadwick Boseman) was first seen in Captain America: Civil War when he teamed up with Iron Man in the civil war, in his quest to avenge his father’s death. In this film, T’Challa returns home to Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy – that would be Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) – reappears, T’Challa’s roles as king and the Black Panther are truly tested. Long live the chief! Ryan Coogler directs with an impressive cast that includes Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis. – Mumtaj Begum

You can park your spaceship anywhere when you are king. — Photos: Marvel Studios

‘Dude, you think you’re Captain America with that shield?’

It’s just a cat thing, that extraordinary gravity-defying ability to always land on your feet.

With arms like that, we’re pretty sure these ladies subscribe to Michelle Obama’s workout routine.
