UNIVERSITI Tenaga Nasional (Uniten) will be holding an open day at its Putrajaya campus.
This event will take place at the Management Building on March 17 and 18.
Commencing from 9am till 4pm, the open day aims to facilitate visitors in obtaining information on the various courses offered by Uniten, namely engineering, information technology, computer science, accounting, business, finance and economics.
Uniten offers foundation, diploma, degree and postgraduate programmes.
During the open day, various activities will be held, including an educational and career exhibition by the College of Foundation and Diploma Studies, College of Engineering, College of Computer Science and Information Technology, College of Business Management and Accounting, College of Energy Business and Economics and College of Graduate Studies.
Advisory services on financing and sponsorship assistance will also be provided to those interested.
The scholarship and financial assistance include merit scholarships worth RM1.2 mil, bursary scholarships worth RM3.7mil, Yayasan Tenaga Nasional, Tabung Amanah Zakat Uniten and PTPTN.
Students who decide to register during the open day are entitled to receive RM300 BMK (Bayaran Menunjukkan Kesungguhan or commitment fee) and processing fee waiver.
On top of that, registered students can enjoy a fee reduction of up to 10%.
Students who fit the minimum entry requirement will immediately receive an offer letter to further their studies at Uniten.
Uniten will also conduct walk-in interview sessions for students who are interested in joining the Huffaz Professional Programme.
Students keen on attending the event are advised to bring along the original and photocopy of their SPM/STPM results and identification card.
