Matrix Concepts appoints Lee exec deputy chairman
SEREMBAN: Property developer Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd has appointed Datuk Lee Tian Hock as group executive deputy chairman.
Lee’s appointment took effect on Sept 1, the company said in a statement.
At present, Lee, who is also Matrix Concepts founder, is group managing director.
Lee’s current position will be assumed by Ho Kong Soon, who is now group deputy managing director.
In financial year 2018 (FY18), Matrix Concepts posted a net profit of RM213.3mil, its best performance since listing in 2012. Revenue stood at RM815.5mil.
For the second consecutive year, its property sales exceeded RM1bil, with RM1.1bil in unbilled sales.
The company is targeting RM1.6bil worth of residential property launches in FY19 as it continues to leverage on the strength of its townships in Bandar Sri Sendayan here and Bandar Seri Impian, Johor.
The developer will also launch its first high-rise serviced apartment in Kuala Lumpur, to be known as Chambers, in the second half of this year.
