Nestle Omega Plus to help promote lifestyle awareness at fitness fair
PETALING Nestle Omega Plus will once again be an active campaigner for healthy hearts by joining FitForLife Penang as a major sponsor.
FitForLife Penang 2016 is a good platform to educate Malaysians on the importance of taking good care of their hearts, said Nestle (M) Berhad (Nestle) Consumer marketing manager Chris Chan.
“One in two Malaysians have high cholesterol and now it is a big problem in Malaysia,” said Chan, adding that 42% of Malaysians with high cholesterol are mainly below the age of 40.
Visitors will get to learn about good and bad cholesterol at Nestle’s booth apart from trying product samples. Nestle Omega Plus will also be sold at a promotional price.
Themed “Get Fit. Live Great!”, FitForLife Penang 2016 aims to inspire Malaysians to lead a healthy lifestyle and adopt a holistic approach that includes physical and mental fitness, financial health and general fitness.
Highlights of the fair include exhibitions, health and lifestyle talks and stage activities addressing a wide spectrum of issues catering to various needs and segments.
Visitors can also expect health checks, product offers and discounts. The first 500 visitors daily will receive a free goodie bag.
FitForLife Penang 2016 is organised by The Star with Great Eastern Life as the exclusive event partner and Nestle Omega Plus as the Official Wellness Sponsor.
