Elegant subjects of fascination
PETALING JAYA: For those who have been curious about what the new Guerlain perfume with actress and film-maker Angelina Jolie as the muse smells like, Life Inspired (pic) has the details.
The relationship with the French perfumer goes back decades and holds a special memory for her. The fragrance will be launched next month and Jolie says she will donate her pay from the project to charity.
Life Inspired was also invited to the lovely home of Guadalupe Cernusco Cornejo. The wife of Argentinian Ambassador Manuel Balaguer Salas is warm-hearted, a good cook and perfect spokeswoman for her country.
Since being here she has been doing voluntary work with youth in Malaysia through a local NGO. She says she is in awe of multiethnic Malaysia and how the many cultures are celebrated joyously.
Talking of homes, in the Life Inspired Abode pages, readers will have a treat looking at astonishing pictures of a home in Los Angeles selling for more than RM1bil. The owner says of his mansion: “Every single inch of this house is breathtaking. It’s a sensory overload ... it makes you feel like you’re in heaven.”
Opulence is what Life Inspired loves and the magazine doesn’t disappoint with its centrepiece pages in every issue of top-notch jewellery, watches, beauty products and fashion too. This issue will charm lovers of luxury.
Since its launch in October 2013, Life Inspired by Star Media Group Bhd has garnered much interest from readers and advertisers alike. Published every second and fourth Sunday of the month, the glossy is distributed with the Sunday Star to selected households in the Klang Valley. It is also available through The Star ePaper subscription.
