Former sec-gen charged

Former Rural and Regional Development Ministry secretary-general Datuk Mohd Arif Ab Rahman was charged in a Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur with abetting his eldest son in accepting a S$200,000 (RM627,000) bribe. His son Ahmad Zukhairi was charged with accepting the money over an electricity supply project in Sandakan.
