PETALING JAYA: Stories on inspiring, illustrious and interesting personalities are at the heart of Life Inspired, The Star’s luxury publication which serves as a guide to ultimate living.

In the latest issue, L’Oreal Malaysia managing director Malek Bekdache (pic) talks about the challenges he faced during his two-decade career with L’Oreal, his hopes, his successes and wishes for the brand, as well as the year he’s had since being appointed to his role in the Malaysian office.

Bekdache also explores the topic of adapting in an ever-changing industry, which he calls a “vuca” world.

It stands for “volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity”.

“We must make decisions faster and process huge amounts of information. Everything is more interconnected than ever before,” Bekdache says.
