He added that with the upcoming end of the year holiday season, there was a large surge of people planning to travel.

“There’s a lot of spending involved at the end of the year with back to school expenses as well, but with the installment plans, we would like to help lighten the financial burden and allow our customers to treat their families and themselves to a holiday,” Halif said.

Bookings with a minimum transaction of RM500 are eligible for the six-month plan, while the 12-month plan is valid for bookings that are at least RM1,000 in total.

All Maybank credit card holders – AMEX, MasterCard and Visa – are eligible for this scheme.
