Sherry to shift focus from acting to her business

( pic) says she will take time off from acting to concentrat­e on her cosmetics business, reported Harian Metro.

The founder of Deeja Cosmetic said business was her priority for the time being and acting came in second.

“I will attend all my product launches and try to solve problems, including customers’ concerns,” she said.

She said she would also focus on expanding her business further.

Sherry said she believed in the quality of her brand and was not interested in cheap publicity.

“I believe that if we do something sincerely, the outcome will be great,” she said.

> A group of hikers was stunned when one of them suddenly became hysterical while on their way down Bukit Batu Putih in Port Dickson, Berita Harian reported.

A hiker, Kefliz Zakaria, shared a oneminute video of the incident on Facebook.

According to him, they heard someone screaming at about 8.45am on Monday.

It turned out to be a female hiker, in her 20s, who became aggressive and had to be calmed down by the others in the group.

Her fellow hikers also had to carry her down the hill.

Khozali Din, 62, stepped on a live wire outside his home at about 10.25am on Monday.

His daughter Fatin Najihah said her whole family was in the living room when her father suddenly asked them to leave the house after he smelled smoke and saw sparks in the kitchen.

But her father kept going in and out to save what he could when he accidental­ly stepped on the wire.

The live wire was believed to be from a nearby electrical pole which was damaged by the fire.
