Carry on, Croatia

-

Exhausted Croatia came from behind to beat England 2-1 on Wednesday to advance to the World Cup final for the first time in the country’s history.

“For Croatian football and Croatia as a country, this is history being written. We have our hearts, our pride and our players and that is what is really important to us,” said coach Zlatko Dalic. As for England, the players are understandably disappointed. “We’re gutted. It hurts, it hurts a lot,” captain Harry Kane said after the match.
