KOTA KINABALU: Any party in­tend­ing to carry out ex­ca­va­tion ac­tiv­i­ties in Sabah should con­sider the out­come of its ac­tions on the wildlife that roam the ar­eas in­volved. In re­sponse to the death of seven ele­phants in a mud pool in Tawau re­cently, Sabah Tourism, Cul­ture and En­vi­ron­ment Min­is­ter Datuk Ma­sidi Man­jun said hu­man reck­less­ness which re­sulted in un­nec­es­sary loss of lives, even of wild an­i­mals, should not be an ex­cuse. – Ber­nama
